Privacy Policy for Try On Clothes

Effective Date: April 23, 2026

Overview

Try On Clothes creates AI-generated outfit previews from photos you choose to upload. This policy explains what data the app and backend collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

Account and Authentication

The app uses Sign in with Apple to create and sign in to your account. We store your Apple account identifier, the email address Apple provides when available, display name when provided, authentication session tokens, free generation usage, generation history, and subscription status so your account works across app launches and devices.

Photos and AI Processing

When you create a try-on, the app asks for your permission before sharing data for AI processing. If you agree, your selected self photo and clothing reference photos are uploaded to our Laravel API, optimized for processing, and sent to OpenAI to create the result. We use these photos only to provide the try-on preview you requested.

AI providers may apply automated safety and moderation checks to submitted photos and prompts. If a request is blocked by those checks, the generation may fail without creating a result, and the app will show a moderation failure message.

Raw input photos are deleted from our storage after processing finishes or fails. Generated results are stored so you can view your generation history until you delete a generation or delete your account.

Subscriptions

The app offers 3 free generations each month. After that, subscription purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Premium plans include generation allowances: 25 generations per week on weekly plans, and 150 generations per month on monthly or yearly plans. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases, restore subscriptions, manage premium entitlements, and keep subscription access in sync across devices.

For subscription support, RevenueCat may process app user identifiers, store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase, renewal, cancellation, expiration, refund, and billing issue events, and limited app, device, and diagnostic information needed to provide subscription services. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Support Requests

If you contact support, we collect your name, email, topic, message, and app context so we can respond and keep a record of the request.

Third-Party Services

We use Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, subscription management, and App Store subscription notifications. We use RevenueCat for subscription entitlement verification, purchase restoration, subscription lifecycle events, and billing diagnostics. We use OpenAI to generate try-on previews from the self photo and clothing photos you submit after granting permission in the app. We require service providers that process user data for us to provide the same or equal protection for that data as described in this policy and required by applicable App Store Review Guidelines.

Tracking and Advertising

Try On Clothes does not sell your personal data, does not use advertising networks, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. If this changes, we will update this policy and request any required permission before tracking.

Consent and Permissions

You choose which photos to upload for each generation. You can stop submitting new photos at any time, delete individual generations in the app, sign out, or delete your account. If the app asks for access to Photos or other device features, the request will explain why that access is needed.

Data Retention

Raw input photos are temporary and are removed after processing finishes or fails. Generated result images, generation metadata, account identifiers, quota information, and subscription verification data from Apple and RevenueCat are kept while your account is active or while needed to provide subscription access, support billing questions, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Support messages may be retained as needed to respond to you and keep a record of the request.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account from within the app. Account deletion removes your Try On Clothes account, Sign in with Apple link, API tokens, quota profile, generation records, and stored generated result images, except for information we are legally required or otherwise permitted to retain. Deleting your app account does not cancel an active App Store subscription; you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. You may also contact us through the support page if you need help with deletion or privacy requests.
